Japanese Speaking External Audit Senior

Our client is one of the Big 4 International Chartered Accounting firms with a specialized Japanese Services Group. As a result of continued growth they seek an experienced Audit Senior who is fluent in Japanese to join their team.
This specialized group provides all accounting services to local subsidiaries of Japanese firms, such as banks and trading houses, to assist them to enter and maintain their businesses within the Australian marketplace.
Duties and responsibilities associated as an Audit Senior in this team will involve planning & scheduling, reviewing work, writing reports and regular client contact whilst having plenty of opportunity for career development.
The successful candidate will have:
- A Minimum of 3 years External Audit experience
- Chartered Accounting qualifications
- Communication skills: Fluent Japanese, English basic
- A thorough understanding of the regulatory requirements that affect Japanese businesses
- A knowledge of auditing and IFRS, and a proven track record for working on complex issues
- Willing to relocate to Sydney from overseas or interstate
The ideal candidate will come from either
- Big 4
- Top 2nd Tier firms (BDO, PKF, Grant Thornton etc)
